2025 Toyota bZ4X Limited in Supersonic Red

2025 Toyota bZ4X Specs

This new Toyota all-electric car is available with two powertrains. The first is the single-motor FWD configuration, and the second is the dual-motor AWD setup.

EVs offer incredible performance. This trait may seem counterintuitive to some folks – after all, how can a battery and a motor do as well as an internal combustion engine? In short, battery-and-motor systems can apply almost all their torque immediately, leading to impressive acceleration. Traditional engines, on the other hand, have to climb through multiple gears and only put down peak torque at higher RPMs. Let's see how the bZ4X delivers in terms of performance.

With the single-motor FWD powertrain, you have access to 201 combined horsepower and 196 pound-feet of torque. In terms of efficiency, it earns up to an EPA-estimated 119 MPGe Combined.1 Range is equally enticing, with the base XLE trim offering an EPA-estimated 252 miles2 on a single charge and the top Limited trim featuring an EPA-estimated 236 miles 2 on a single charge.

The twin-motor AWD configuration boasts enhanced handling and road grip and offers a stronger power output due to its extra motor. This setup churns out 214 combined horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. It has slightly lower but still compelling efficiency ratings as a result of the additional power, featuring up to an EPA-estimated 104 MPGe Combined.1 In terms of range, the XLE trim travels an EPA-estimated 228 miles2 on a single charge, while the Limited trim offers an EPA-estimated 222 miles2 of driving range.

These ranges supply enough juice to travel for hours without stopping. When the time for charging this new Toyota model is required, you have a few options. Regardless of which 2025 Toyota bZ4X configuration you choose, you can expect the following approximations for charging:

  • Level 1 (at home), from Low Battery light to 100%: 50 hours3
  • Level 2 (at home), from Low Battery light to 100%: 9.5 hours3
  • DC Fast Charging, from Low Battery light to 80%: 30-35 minutes3

The 2025 Toyota bZ4X SUV is a nice, nimble size with a roomy cabin. It measures 184.6 inches long, 73.2 inches wide, and 65 inches tall. Inside, it has seating for five and a passenger volume of 94.4 cubic feet. For cargo, this Toyota all-electric car boasts up to 27.7 cubic feet of storage space, which extends to a maximum of 56.9 cubic feet with the rear seat folded.

2025 Toyota bZ4X Trims

  • Leather-trimmed steering wheel

  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Four USB-C charging ports

  • Panoramic View Monitor
  • Ambient floor lighting
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink®
