General Description

The Internet Sales Manager is the front line member of management. They are the team leader of a sales team. They coordinate sales schedules, sales training, conduct and provide feedback to a sales person, and closes deals for the sales team.

Working Conditions

Will stand and move throughout the dealership and the grounds surrounding it. Evening, weekend, and holiday work hours will be required. Periods of time spent outdoors are required in all styles of weather. Work is performed in a drug free environment. Extensive use of a telephone is required.

•  Trains a sales team in techniques, policies, and procedures.

•  Supervises the team members.

•  Hires replacements as needed to keep the team at full level. (6-7 sales people)

•  Provides advice on an individual and group level about improving sales performance.

•  Closes vehicle deals where the sales person leaves off.

•  Actively introduces new customers to sales team members.

•  Aggressively communicates with all customers before they leave the dealership

•  Participates in sales meetings.

•  Recommends sales personnel for promotion or special recognition.

•  Conducts performance reviews.

•  Provides insight to sales personnel on how to handle difficult or distant customers.

•  Models the best sales practices.

•  Models the very best company attitudes.

•  Leads the sales team to achieve sales and profit goals.

 

Qualifications

High School diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and information. Posses a valid Arizona drivers license. Professional appearance. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. Successfully complete pre-hiring testing and background checks.
